100% The guys that get into these College positions are all the same, staff specialists from public hospitals all on the public payroll for life. Some have political aspirations, hence all the woke and other ****
Nun of the above! GG/GAD only, same with finding out when they invented/worked out the magic of the wheel.....amongst a bunch of other incidental items.
You forgot the steam loco . The Aboriginal population in 1901 was 100,000 its now over 1 million people who claim that according to the 2022 Census. So 10 fold . Overall population 1901 was 3.8 million our total population in 2022 is 26 million ..approx 5 fold... WHICH includes migration increase of around 7.5 million since WW two! Am I missing something ?
Please detail what benefits are available ONLY to Indigenous people that are NOT available to similarly disadvantaged other Australians? Perhaps like the 'no cash' card systems? Or the great health care in much of rural Australia (just as bad for non-indigenous)?
Mt Isa Mines policy that if two people apply for the same job and one is indigenous then the indigenous one gets the job, seems beneficial to me
I for one feel and are concerned for the welfare of the TRUE Aboriginal and NOT the inner city claimers (many) The question needs to be answered why do over one million people identify as Aboriginal ....when only 100,000 were around in 1901? A quick Google reveals ...1n 2012/13 Government expenditure was around $14,000 per indigenous Australains and around $6,000 for non.. Aboriginal land councils are exempt from stamp duty and land tax.Which there are around 120 . NO different to any Government structure .. I think Aboriginal children in some states are paid to attend school? understandable ..
In Victoria if i fish without a fishing license ..I'm fined .....if I had an Aboriginal T shirt with flag on and pointed to it , I'm left alone!
There are a myriad of welfare programs, subsidies and laws that specifically benefit people identifying as indigenous. I've been running an indigenous nonprofit since February and it has been a real eye opener for me. My experience has been that genuine indigenous people are mostly great, it's the white, urban, activists who "identify" who are mostly awful.
Sen.Jacinta Price .....everytime has the right answer , so much time for this lady and her cause as opposed to the Green Sen Thope and her attempts to divide people !
Spot on As an exercise ,I am going to apply to be recognized as a First Nation Person , its not hard . "You do not need a letter of confirmation to identify as an indigenous Australian " And I cannot be questioned on my claim . However I might need proof for grants ,housing etc .
