maybe i should just keep on working so my bank account has a few more numbers in it. I don't think you get it,I've had an illness that could have killed me and still could.I don't want to be stuck in a office 40 hours a week with all the stress and worry,I'm happy to give up the income and some of the little "so called luxuries" so as i can enjoy my life again.
Congrats on ya decisions Rob, Dad's been retired for a year after being a teacher for more than 20 odd years. I think the first few month was hard on him, all of sudden there was all these free time and nothing much to do. He picked up a few hobbies in between, and now we are working together on my own biz, which is great! I would suggest that since you're retired, pick up a hobbie, something you truely passionate about but never really had the time to do, and just enjoy it mate. oh and shoulting out "Yummy Mummy" in front of Carrey doesn't count
i never said that,the disease is not with me,but for the rest of my life every six months i have a pet scan and a blood test /medical every 3 months. its not one they use the word remission on. for me its nice to have the option of not working full time.Plenty out their do not have that option and thats fine that is their choosing.
