I wonder how long until the local news start covering the rain? Is it me or does it seem like the local news are always interrupting local programming to cover useless weather reports. It rained 20 years ago and i didn't have to turn the TV on to notice it.
You'd roll over if you saw So. CA news then. A couple days of rain turns into "Storm Watch 2005" coverage.
hahahaha, oh god i sure don't miss the "STORM WATCH" coverage. jees you'd think the world was ending. although i do miss the mock parody kevin&bean would do.
For those who may not understand the gravity of the situation mentioned by SrfCity and smg2 - In L.A. - ARMAGEDDON itself would get less air time. HOWEVER, if it's SPRINKLING - it's the LEAD STORY and THEN SOME, and UPDATED continuously. At LEAST 10 times per 1/2 hour segment, with field reporters commenting on the TERROR from the skies. ABC7 was the only station we'd watch - 'cause the weather guys were too damn cool. Dallas Raines - ABC7 Weathershowman Extraordinaire and Pantera Nut goes nuts when the ol' radar shows even a hint of moisture, and his tan gets oranger the "colder" it gets. Johnny Mountain (Has he retired yet?) thinks he's a ballroom dancer and Garth (Has he replaced the Ballroom Dancer yet?) - well, he probably knows the best jokes you can't say on the air.
