When I first got Vista last year I had a major problem with iTunes loading and working correctly. Had to use an older version. Alot of songs on iTunes won't load with the older version---What version of iTunes are you guys running with Vista? I heard all the bugs were worked out with Vista and the newer Itunes version, but a little leary of updating it without knowing all the bugs were worked out..

No problems with iTunes on Vista Ultimate here. Plenty of other problems with Vista... but not iTunes. I'm running 7.7.1.11

Current version of iTunes with x64 Vista. It works now. That's all I can say.

Are you all using version 8? I downloaded version 8 last night and it has a slightly different look than the previous versions. It also has something called "Genius" which allows Apple to see what music you have on your hard drive and make playlist suggestions of similar music. It also makes recommendations on purchases from iTunes store. I'm always a bit leary of having my hard drive "examined" by an outsider so I opted to not turn on Genius.

I opted against it as well. Also note, there are many reports that iTunes 8 is causing BSODs in Vista.
