iTunes Question:

Is it possible to edit (shorten) songs in iTunes? I have a few really good songs that have super long wild solos at the end or just some dead space that makes that particular song 20 min long. I'd simply like to shorten these songs. thanks.

 

I don't beleive you can thru iTunes. There is a program (software) Called record now. that should work??

 

Google 'Audacity' - free, easy to use audio software will do that in a snap.

Actually you can shorten songs in itunes

right click the song,
choose get info,
click the options tab,
then change the start/stop times.

If you wish to make a permanent change right click the song and choose create AAC version. It will then create a duplicate song without the parts you cut out.
