There is a very attractive 3 year lease right now. I have always bought mine outright but if I wanted an FF with it's depreciation curve I would either buy used or lease it.

Love the F12. The first front engine 12 I've wanted since ever. Maybe twenty years from now it will depreciate enough for me to buy one. :)

I guess you'll just have to wait a while.

I gave in Mayor, spider goes at the end of the year and F12 comes. The V12 calling was too strong.

Never had a V12. Someday, they may go the way of the dodo bird.

And nip-slips included, guess a painting is OK?:D

I 'only' had a California before the FF. I was positive that the Cali exhaust was perfectly addicting with tons of attention whether my foot was in it or not. Although I did a Cali drive a couple weeks ago during a spurt of warm weather and it was cool, it is boring compared to the V12 sound of my FF ... it wails like a banshee, way better than any V8. And THAT sucks since NOW I am bitten. I used to say if it doesn't have 300 HP it ain't worth driving ... now if it it doesn't have a V12 it is hardly worth driving unless it is a Ferrari of course:)

Rick- California to F12 is not a stretch. You might miss the retractable top and extra seat, but the V12 would make up for it.

Mayor- Never had a V12? That is almost criminal.

John Wilson Waterhouse, 1849-1917, Hylas and the Nymphs. Hylas was a friend of Heracles (Hercules) who was taken by the nymphs. Story evolved into Jason and the Argonauts, who were tempted by sirens (nymphs).

No doubt this is a very strong desire. I too love the F12 and look forward to having one. I think it is just about as perfect as it's going to get for a GT. But I will keep my boring Cali for those sunny days!

Go for it. The V12 calls and it may be the last of its line. But maybe once you have it, you will realize that you... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-pyGdJCV04]V8 juice drive thru commercial - YouTube[/ame]

We are coming to a similar conclusion. We're on the list, have submitted an initial spec....

Saw the car this past weekend. Looks very different in person than (all) the pics, at least to me. The dimensions are much nicer with a naked eye; the aerobridge is more subtle, perhaps it is/was all the angles.

I mean this in the post positive way - the car is sort of like a RWD FF coupe. We have an FF and love it; the interior is a combo of 458/FF (wheel/dash) and Cali (center console). I got to start it up (but not drive)....has the same bark as the FF.

IF it drives as well as everyone says....it might mean we send the 458 away. FF we'd keep long term.

Hey Mayor, I'd go for it ( in fact I did go for it)! With the two year wait the timing will be about right given the date you received your Spyder. When the F 12 arrives you can decide to keep your Spyder and have the ideal two Ferraris or trade it. You can't lose as I see it!

Boxer first, then F12. F12 would be 2 years out from what I'm told.

I drove the F12 in Milan recently and let me tell you its bloody awesome!!! I was blown away with the torque delivery and the performance. The car just flies ... the performance difference from the 458 to the F12 is huge. I loved the howl from that engine. Incredible car.
Cant wait for mine... few months to go. :)

Jeeez, i guess i´m lucky not having to make such a tough decision!!!.....but maybe in a milion years i will be able to afford one.....probably not, the car is so gorgeous that by that time it will be worth even more!!!)
Mayor, if you can afford it just do it, that car it´s just awsome, i really think it´s breathtaking and every review says it´s an amazing machine....i´m pretty sure you won´t regreat it.
