Believe it or not, Ferrari used to do that (or something similar) to the door speaker covers on the 2Vi. I don't think I have ever seen it on a car but I remember it in a road test picture in a magazine on a new car back in the day. I can find it and post it but I am sure someone will beat me to it by the end of the day when I have a chance to dig around looking for it.
One hole (on the right) even broke the stitching? It looks like some enthusiasts 'handy'-work, but if Ferrari really did this, I'd like to know that
Hey gand my 1982 gtsi has this 2 of them 1 at the top and then down over the speakes Image Unavailable, Please Login
Just as a precaution. I didn't mean your spelling. I meant that person, who raped the door panels Best Regards Maerin
Pretty sure I saw this on a 328 I checked out maybe circa 2005 and I thought it was some cheap thing some stereo installer did. It would be nice to know for sure if it was a dealer option.
Maybe it was bring your daughter to work day at the factory, could've been worse, imagine if she brought her bedazzler!
I guess the only way to find out is to get some kind of confirmation from a dealer or from an individual who created those things.
