Nope, this F40 was owned by a businessman, and his brother was killed in the accidient. Has Stephen Chow owned a F40 before?

When the buying stops the killing can to! Please people you are driving machines that are meant for race tracks not highways. Ferrari especially is so poorly designed, i.e., subject to hydroplaning, virtually no computerized safety gadgets (sans f430) and very overpowered. You need extensive training to drive hard so go easy and save the heroics for Project Gotham Racing.

The F40 is a road car. So is the ENZO, F50, 288 GTO and even the original 250GTO. Ferraris and ALL cars are subject to 'Aquaplaning'.....( not hydroplaning, that's a hi-po speedboat last I checked ! ) when the tyres have no tread left or/are bald, suspensions' knackered, misalignment of the wheels etc..etc...NOT bad design but rather 'bad' owners/ drivers. If you're talking about the F40, the car has so much downforce that will minimise the risks of aquaplaning further.

In summary, not the fault of the car and it's designer or manufacturer, rather the person who has more money than sense. JMO

Hydroplaning- To be or go out of control by skimming along the surface of a wet road. Used of a motor vehicle.

Know your vocabularies before you try to correct someone. Hydroplaning has nothing to do with the design of the car because Hydroplaning could occur Formula One cars too. Are you going to tell me that those machines do not have good enough downforce and mechanical grip? However, it is true that if people could drive more cautiously under wet weather condition, Hydroplaning could be avoided.

I checked my vocab very well thank you....and in the modern world we call it Aquaplane. Please refer to tyre manufacturer's nomenclature. They refer to it as Aquaplane as well. In all fairness methinks you googled the meaning and I checked and there it was...Aquaplane and Hydroplane. Hydroplane is actually listed first as a speedboat and the act of 'planing' on water second.

Yo , SH and APEGEN ,

    lol.

homies , at least , when trying to post 'facts' , get them checked out first ....

that and , fyi , bicycle tyres do not hydro/aquaplane (something you kids
should watch out for on your next paper route ..... )

Like you said, only "Hydroplane" is referred to speedboat, not "Hydroplaning". SH never used the word "Hydroplane" in his post, therefore, I still believe he said nothing wrong. On the other hand, I never said you are wrong to use the word "Aquaplane". Just that you have to acknowledge that the term "Hydroplaning" means the same thing.

No dude, I mean look at this thread and specifically post #3, 4 and 5(your own post):
    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=66384
Fellow fchatter Admiral Thrawn was citing the very, very pessimistic reports by the Italian press (hence, the post title, "Ferrari disaster!") after a very bad British GP by Ferrari, and thus posted this:
However it is well known that the Italian press goes nuts and makes it sound like the end of the world everytime Ferrari achieves anything lower than a 3rd position (eversince years ago, not only in 2005), therefore, the poster of the below quote simply wanted to explain why the Italian press sounded so pessimistic by using such strong statements:

Then you, being the typical smart@ss spills out all these sarcasm on the above quote by saying this:
Making it sound as if the guy was a total dumb@ss by believing that Ferrari is doing absolutely perfect in this year's Grand Prix, when in fact you totally missed out the point of his post.
    This shows two things;
    1) you know nothing about Formula 1 besides the race results (e.g your lack of knowledge towards the well known characteristics of the Italian press) Actually I don't know much about it neither, but that explains why I don't go around the racing forum trying to be a smart@ss like you.
    2) My 8 year old nephew has better interpretation skills than you do, but yet you claim yourself to be a 'lawyer'. May I ask are all Malaysian lawyers like that?
I mean guys, look at these examples of other threads where this clown posted before, certainly proves i'm not the only one who thinks he doesn't know jack about F1

Stop tryin to sound like an expert with all your very-unwitty-sarcasm when you really know nothing much dude.
