    1990 mondial t 2 questions:
    1. Oil change - do you remove the oil filter after draining the oil or before (after car has sat for oil to drain from filter)?
    2. Heater fan - runs sometimes & then stops. Could be a loose connection. How do you take the knobs off the top plate of the tunnel so you can lift the plate & check connections here?

    Thank you, Norman J. Ismari

Drain the oil first, the filter has had a chance to cool down (and some oil will drain out too). There is a standpipe inside the filter that stops all the oil draining out anyway.

there is a small - tiny allen nut that holds the rotating switch on... usually points up wards so you dont see it. be gentil in removing and reattaching... there is a flat tang on the switch prong that you have to locate the allen nut on.
