J.J. Best - Application of Title?

Good afternoon,

I've looked into getting a loan through J.J. Best for a vehicle and have received my check and with that they have included an application for title that is to be filled out and returned to them. My question for those who have worked with J.J. Best in the past is, if I were to list a lower purchase price of the vehicle on the title application for tax purposes, would they be ok with that? Does anyone know if they follow up on the paperwork with the state to find out what was actually listed?
