Not trying to be sarcastic, but old Alfa jacks have the same knob (with the `B' on it). Although I'll be damn if I can figure out how to remove it without it getting damaged.

Spoke with Stefan @ dinoparts, he would make the knob if there is enough interest? Everyone write him and he will make it.

I will make it if someone could loan me one in good condition that I can use as a pattern to make a mold. This would not affect the loaned part in any way. It looks to be a very straightforward part to make, would need the borrowed part for 3-4 weeks.

BTW, The www.UnobtainiumSupply.com web site is 'broken'.
Our web site provider has updated to something called PHP5.3 which unfortunately requires re-writing some of Unobtainium's web site.

If you try to browse the site you will get this error:
We knew this was coming, but had hoped to have the re-write done before Dotster made the change-over. It is likely to be 6 weeks or

If you are in need of any rubber parts for your jack I have reproduced all of them. The top cap is hard plastic, not like the repos I've seen (usually rubber) I only have the smaller of the two top caps, 46.65mm ID. I'm working on the larger 52.40mm ID cap. I may have it available in a couple of weeks. The knob comes drilled and is in hard plastic with all other parts molded in high impact rubber. I've put the prices up on Ferrariads.

The jack handle rod is grooved at the end and has a poor-mans C clip of wire fitted in the groove. The knob is a friction fit around the wire C clip. It's a bit unnerving but you just pull off the knob. I clamped the rod handle in a vice and tapped the knob off with a hammer and block of wood. To install you press the new knob on

    Hi All, I'm still around!
Here is an updated photo of all the jack parts I have reproduced. I also did a new mold of the knob and it has come out better. I also have molded the bumper strut grommets in rubber if any one is interested in those.

    Hi Steve,

Can you please tell me the inside diameter of the larger one you made in the photo. I bought one from Superformance in UK last year and it does not fit the top of my jack so still looking for one.

I got one from Steve last week 52.4mm and it snapped perfect onto my jack top for a 73 GTS.

Yes that would have fitted. The one I got from Superformance UK is 46mm inside diameter and 51 outside which simply won’t fit. The top of my jack measures 51mm so impossible to push over.

I did the same thing bought one 46mm from Mr.Fiat and ended up returned to them. The 46/51 I believe to go on the early jack L series car.

    YHello,
I am new to this forum. I am an Alfista with an early 70's sedan. This car has the Battaini jack, probably in the largest version, thats to say that the cap shoul have a diameter of about 55mm.

As visible in the pictures, this cap has 1 horizontal rib and 3 vertical ribs. This was used on Ferrari 330 and on Alfa Romep Montreal and sedans of early 70's.
    Cheers

    Hello Steve
Thanks for your reply. Your cap seems close to the dimensions I am looking for, however it looks quite different. Tge cap I have has no "step" between the rectangular part and the circular one ( front face) while on the rear face it has one horizontal rib and 3 vertical ribs. The cap I am looking for looks like this:
