Anyone here saw the lastest Jackie Chan Movie?? His Latest Movie was the BEST Better than Rush Hour 2 and any others of his movie~~ And The Movie Name is The New Police Story~~
Don't think it has hit the U.S. yet. Look forward to seeing it. My wife is a big fan which makes it easier for me. This guy is incredible.
I gather that negotiations are still ongoing -- but I'm guessing that the release of the two DVD import set may mess up theatre release deals. ("bebop" DVDs have virtually vanished from the shops, due to a studio exclusive US distribution deal.) It's good news, though, about Benny Chan direction -- I really liked "Who Am I" (especially the "stupid EVO tricks" part). Just so long as Jacky has learned better than letting Hollyweird team him up with another albatross like in "the Tuxedo" (the only really boring Jackie Chan film ever made).
erm, are you seriously considering Rush Hour (or ANY post-hollywood Chan movie) to be his benchmark movie? off to the video store with you, pick up say a dozen of his movies from the 80's and you'll wonder how you ever swallowed the hollywood garbage that he's done in recent years.
