    Silly question -

I see the jack points in front of the rear wheels. Where do you place the jack if you need to remove a front wheel? There doesn't seem to be an obvious place.

The owner's manual only shows the back points...

You put it right there. The jack will lift both the front and rear wheels off the ground

Seriously? I haven't tried it but that would be cool. I need to put the car on wheel dollies to move it into position in my garage and that would make it even easier.

That's where the center of gravity (or middle point, or whatever you call it) is on the 308/328..

or, get a 2x4x8 board a few feet long, place it under the center axle line of the front wheels and place jack under center to raise both front wheels off of the floor.
The board spreads the weight so you won't bend the center beam(underneath the battery, ask me how i know:) ).

I usually place 2 or 3 2x10(or 2x12) boards of staggered lengths underneath the front wheel(s) I wanna jack up, then drive the car up onto the boards(be careful) to allow enough room underneath to insert a jack.

If you wanna go with jacking up under the wheel instead of the center line, you can always fit a squar-ish 2x4 small board between the head of the jack and the jacking point by the wheel, to better distribute the load on the contact point of the car.
