Saw this on X. “Postponed” seems dubious. Are they DOA?

Someone once said that eventually there will be only 3 car companies in the world. All the brands will be bought up and be under one of these three. Which three? Hard to tell but one might be Chinese, one American, and one European.

 

Very sad if accurate

 

It’s sad, but as a brand it’s hard to place in today’s market. Land Rover is easy — it’s the blue blood of SUVs and inimitably British. Jaguar once made the sexiest sports cars on the planet, but the world wants SUVs. Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, and even Lotus have gone down this path.

As a car enthusiast, I’m not sure why I would want or need a Jaguar SUV.

I don't disagree with you at all, but as an E-Type owner it's just sad to see them fail. They have always had a hard time against bigger rivals but I guess the EV trend will be the final nail.

 

I too saw that story. Still don't know if it's true. If so, it's very sad and short-sighted in Jag's part.
