I am on this as well. It seems great for later model cars as I own an XK as my DD. Not sure about the vintage activity.
Hi, Technically (software, how it looks etc.) it is a bit strange and out of date, but contentwise you can not beat Jag-Lovers.org and the E-type forum in there. My first car was a Series 1 4.2L 2+2 from 1966, but typically titled as a '67 in the US that I bought as a basket case and put back on the road with the help of many folks on J-L. I have another (S3 V12 manual roadster) E-type nowadays, but they all sure have lots of things in common. People on J-L are friendly in general, and like to use real names, at least 1st name, and are very helpful. I've had the pleasure to meet many of them in real life in Stoneleigh, England, Florida etc. Cheers from Austria, Pekka T. Fin.
Yup agreed - JL is antiquated looks-wise, which believe it or not, is off putting. However, it's a GREAT resource, I can vouch some good folks there. I've gotten help for my E-Type, but forgot about the place. I started tinkering with my XJS-V12, and think I may check it out again...I need some help!
The E-type UK is a great source as well. Some of the most knowledgeable people on there when it comes to E-types. The 'E' Type Forum - celebrating 54 years of the ultimate motoring icon :: Index
