    That is a very pretty Corniche indeed. Is it in your garage yet?

    I have no idea of prices of these, but there is one for sale here as well for reasonable money, with a fresh engine and good cosmetics. It's a UK import and they are asking ZAR 370.000 (55.000USD), in this country the range of an excellent 2-seater E FHC or a cheap 308.

    In any case, I'd have that over any Mk2 any day, if FSH and in the condition it appears to be in in the shot you posted.

    There's no substitute for a high-end British car interior. Rollers are beautiful inside, but I have to say thst I like the assymetrical dash of the series 2 much better.

    Does the Corniche have the 6.25 or 6.75 engine? (Wasn't '71 the year of the change?)
