    Saw this magnificent car last weekend in Florence during the "Uniques" Concours. Absolutely stunning - see the cycle-wing fenders and straight through exhaust. Learned it was a very special machine, designed in 1938 and '39 for seriouse racing with factory prepared racing engine capable to outrun the 3.5 cars.
    Looked like a mean - but beautiful beast in comparison to standard SS100s.
    This car was recently restored in the UK and won fresh from the workshop instantly the first price in the concours in its class. (The overall show winner was a Zagato bodied Ferrari. So the F cars took their fair share, too)
    What a hot black pre-war sports car. Would have bought it instantly, if I had the money and if the owner would sell it :)

    I think the standard SS looks great but with the open cycle wings this looks really pretty.
