    It appears Jaime Melo has landed himself in deep trouble with the police (military police no less) in Brazil after crashing his car in his hometown of Cascavel and attempting to flee the scene. He was apprehended by military police and charged with drunk driving, resisting arrest, driving under the influence of narcotics and driving with a suspended licence.

    What a shame his life has taken a turn such as this.

    Ever since he was let go as factory pilot with Ferrari, I dont know what he has been up to besides racing for Luxury Racing in last years WEC where they scored a podium at Le Mans, havent heard of him racing anywhere else.

    Its certainly a fall from grace beyond being dropped a Ferrari factory driver in 2011.
