Alright, I need this after this morning's F1 race. Something uplifting. It's the final IRL race in Joliet with Dario, Dixon and Kanaan vying for a million bucks. Dario's on the pole, TK is P4 and the Kiwi is P6. I'd like to see Kanaan win because of my long standing reverence for Jumbo Slurpees. Well, that and because Dario has Ashley regardless. Dixon's out of my good books because he purposely backed into Mr. Judd last week. BTW, Danica's P7, Marco is P10....
    BRING IT ON......!!!

So far lap 77, Danica is showing well. Announcer went through some her season statistics, very impressive.

How do they do it ? Last lap decisions every single RACE !!!!!! He almost ran into Dixon when Dixon ran out of fuel Unreal !!!! Mike , Marco hit the wall, first car out, it was a weird hit but at least it was soft. Ron, hope you're doing better every day. Not sure Ashley needed to say that about Milka.........Off to Nascar..what a shame..

Breathtaking finish. I was rooting for Dixon now that Franchitti will be racing taxicabs next year. Anyway, the laps 50 laps of this season closer were more exciting than every F1 race this year.

And Danica loses it on pit road. How AGR puts up with her relentless screw-ups is beyond me. I'm willing to bet she will never win a race. She is accident-prone and fears wheel-to-wheel.

I agree to a degree. Being a woman in this sport is difficult. I believe there's an underlying resentment with many male racers as they feel the spotlight and many opportunities present themselves to women simply because of the novelty factor alone. It's unfair as it is truthful. It's a double edged sword because when you do well, it's highlighted and when you choke, guess what, that's takes up prime air time on TV also. All in all, it balances out. Being a woman, I tend to follow Danica's races and am probably more interested in her progress than many other drivers. That's not to say I cut her slack, because I don't. I don't mind that she has brainfade from time to time, I haven't seen one driver who never makes a mistake (ie:Senna at Monaco). The part I don't like about Danica is the whining. It's a drag for me to hear her whine and if she reacted more professionally when things go awry, I'll wager she'd garner more respect from everyone. I wish Sarah Fisher had Danica's looks and her access to better equipment because I believe she's ultimately quicker and cooler under pressure. And I wish Danica had some of Milka's personality. Milka is always fan friendly and upbeat. But, back to your point. I believe Danica will win 'A' race at one point, however, I know she'll never be a top tier contender. Screw ups or not, I'll bet she's AGR's most lucrative driver.Definitely IRL's.

i thought it was real classy for franchitti's wife to rag on milka's performance. yes she's off the pace but she brought the car home and other cars finished behind her. to me that's a good race.

Did anyone else catch Franchitti's pit radio? They said "You're old friend the 23 car will be in front of you" he responded "WHAT THE HELL IS SHE......" at that point they cut it off. She has been 10-15mph slower all year and very dangerous. I don't like Ashley Judd and am not a big Franchitti fan, I just happen to agree with Ashley Judd on this one.

That wasn't Ashley. That was a body double. She ran off with me last week. Here's Dario when he found out.

Probably wasn't the right time, but I have to agree with Ashley. Milka shouldn't be on the track. Why is she there? They trying to introduce Danica part II? Midfielder at best with a pretty face. I'm getting sick of these marketing stunts in racing.

Not a chance. I've seen that look before and it's universal for all Scots. Give him back his penny.

Mildfielder is being generous. One or two up from DFL is more accurate.

She's another Paul Dana. Able to pass the tests but still shouldn't be out there.
