Also this one is back on ebay: Lamborghini : Other Jalpa in Lamborghini | eBay Motors
And oh good, the engine bay just needs a little detailing. That's all, just a little detailing.... either that or every wire, hose, engine mount and mechanical part and piece is worn out and neglected.
Indeed it is: Silhouette rear lights and is first UK RHD. Presently in the UK registered YAL9Y. FLD 144Y formerly RHV 262Y, NTS 18. It's the only with these caps on the beamers. The car is Based in Crawley near Gatwick Airport West Sussex and is a feature car in AUTO ITALIA MAGAZINE JUNE 2004 along with UK club members other V8’s. 2005: James B. BRIDGNORTH SHROPSHIRE
This one is identified as well, the new owner in Australia contacted me to have it registred on Lamborghini Jalpa Home Page, it's DLA12076 Hamptons Exclusive Cars | Sports, Luxury, Exotic, Classic and Investment Car Sales > Lamborghini Jalpa 350 S
The seller is claiming this car as one of only 35 RHD. I wonder if this number is supported by any records? Imo there must be more than 35.
Here's another RHD Jalpa that I saw at a workshop in London last year. Red exterior with white interior. The car was locked and no keys available at that moment so I couldn't see the chassis number. Any idea which number this is? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
NO idea, I don't know any red UK Jalpa having a white hide, sure it was white, not magnolia or light cream?
This car was manufactured in 1986 with first registration 01.06.86 and is currently unlicenced. I don't remember the interior as being white...Kevin may remember
Found others which are unknown: Lamborghini Jalpa information on SupercarWorld.com and even one in India! http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/super-cars-imports-india/4361-lamborghini-jalpa.html
Somebody cann identify those? Spots exotischer Autos / Weltweit und stündlich upgedatet - Lamborghini Jalpa The swiss is #FLA12234 owned by a club colleague. Dutch SK 24 RF is #HLA12368 Dutch 24 JZ TB could by #JLA12420 the very last Jalpa. The red one in Hamburg is #DLA12070. The other german cars and the UK silver one I don't know.
I have my doubts, because I have pictures of this car from 1995 where it was red and had an engine fire (Richard Snow, Nottinghamshire). Although pictures of DLA12057 of the period show the single mirror on the right fender and registred DLB850Y and the red car has the mirror on the door. http://www.jalpa.ch/Magazines/Car_1983/index.html http://www.jalpa.ch/Magazines/Motor_1983/index.html http://www.jalpa.ch/Magazines/AutomobileSport_1983/index.html http://www.jalpa.ch/Magazines/ASCW_1983/index.html http://www.jalpa.ch/Magazines/Club_1983/index.html Then I have a silver car with C706BYX http://www.jalpa.ch/Magazines/Autocar_1985/index.html This magazine shows Lam60 8 and C706BYX in the same article, only difference is the wing. http://www.jalpa.ch/Magazines/CSC_1986/index.html So two unknown silver UK Jalpa's... and I have C709 BYX which is FLA12190 (being black) and FLA12209 where I don't know the plates.
I think this is DLA12057, correct single mirror on the right fender: 1983 Lamborghini Jalpa 3.5 V8 | Flickr - Photo Sharing! I wonder which one this might be: http://colinclarkeengineering.co.uk/gallery/gal21.jpg
This car was at Silverstone Classic in 2011. Lots of stickers everywhere and a GTO badge on the rear panel!
DLA12057 had at least three different registrations: reg. first DLB 850 Y , then FRU 307 Y , now BAZ 530 , the badges on the windscreen convinced me this is the same car The one at colinclarkeengineering could be JLA12405 ; RHD, acapulco blue and silhouette rims.
I shoe-horned my motor back into the Jalpa this weekend. Good fun. Wow, it its a tight fit. They made a different, and much thinner cover for the rear timing chains as an after thought as there are only a few millimeters of clearance between the timing chain cover and the engine frame. That is tight. I wonder if having the car on a lift would be much easier? The engine bay wouldn't be at such an angle compared to the engine.
