Rear view mirrors, interior door trim next to mirror (must be a story there), Alpine radio- anything else ?

These power rear view mirrors are not that easy to find- took me a while to get a set for my Jalpa (and weren't cheap!)

Great images! This was indeed an ELA car with Jalpa rear lights etc. However an earlier car CLA12014 was re-plated as CLA12067 before consignment. This meant that number 014 was not issued and so was used on Mimran's car. If this is 1984 the car must have been nearly new...

Replying to my own post, in fact I found that up to DLA12028 all First jalpa got overbagded like DLA12067 which was in fact DLA12014, also ELA12014 is an overbagded other car.

Beside the stamped VIN, there is also a Body number like on the Urracos, f.e. DLA12028 is #23, DLA12037 is #38, DLA12038 is #37. My former 203 had everywhere number 193.
I wonder how Polo storico will ever be able to solve this mess, basically you would Need to check every single car whether the VIN is stamped directly into the dome or it got another plate welded on top.

    Like CLA12016 attached

Till ELA12160 I found overwelded VIN badges, from then on it seems they sorted the mess out.

Also it seems that the Body number was moved to the left Suspension dome. Means VIN on the right, Body on the left dome plate.

  22. Euro version stored in what looks like a fairly damp area. Proceed with caution.

underpinnings were based on an urraco which is all steel chassis with a repetitively long wheelbase for that era when compared to a 911 or 308 gtb. then reinforced with more metal when they chopped off the roof panel for the lost rigidity. at 3100-3300lbs, its not light but compare to the moderns, it isnt unreasonable.

outside of the one off urraco bob rallye, i wonder who has the lightest urraco/silhouette/jalpa out there? seems like the bob rallye replica now in japan would be light since its somewhat gutted.
