Does anyone know if a Japanese driver has ever won an F1 race or been on pole position? If not, could Sato be the first?

No Japanese winners so far, but here's my contribution to Japanese F-1 driver trivia:

    - Aguri Suzuki drove an Italian powered car to a podium finish (3rd place finish for Larrousesse Lamborghini, '90 Japanese GP at Sukuza)
