I'm in Tokyo right now and I'm wanting to head to the japanese GP in Suzuka on Sunday. It really does not seem like there is an easy way to do it and I was wondering if anyone had any good advise about how to get there, what to do/not to do?

I'd rent a helicopter but even that does not seem easy.

We flew with ANA from Tokyo NRT to Nagoya NGO, and had a driver to take us from the hotel in Nagoya to Suzuka and back every day last year, although all the flights are probably gone now. I believe JAL fly direct to NGO also.

There is the Bullet Train from Tokyo to Nagoya, and I think it only takes about 2 hours, but I've never used it, so I don't know exactly. Then when you get there, the trains and buses are great, but if you talk to your hotel, they should be able to organise a driver

Suzuka has a reputation for being hard to get to. Basically one road and that turns into a parking lot for the race weekend. Good luck!

Another friend of mine was in Tokyo yesterday, but he didn't even bother with the GP (despite being a huge MS fan).
