    Damn:

    From Atlas:

    Webber out of qualifying

By Jonathan Noble Saturday, October 3rd 2009, 04:09 GMT

Mark Webber is out of qualifying and will be forced to start the Japanese Grand Prix from the pit lane after badly damaging his car in his Saturday morning accident at Suzuka.

Webber went off at the second Degner corner near the end of first practice, and speared off straight into the barriers.

Although the accident did not appear too big, the impact damaged his Red Bull Racing chassis beyond repair - which means he cannot take part in qualifying.

It also means that his team will need to build up a replacement car tomorrow, ahead of the race. The fact he needs a new tub will force him to start from the pit lane.

So Button needs to score at least 5 points more than Barrichello to wrap the WDC. If he doesn't, Rubens is still in in the fight. Now even if Jenson doesn't score 5 points more than Rubens, but he does score 6 points more than Vettel, then Vettel is definitely out of contention for the title.

I think the WDC will be sealed at Interlagos.

Buemi duplicates Mark Webber's prang. He gets off with less damage though.

Yes, Luca B's performances aren't looking so bad now.

Feel sorry for the RB mechanics. They and Toro Rosa get little sleep tonight.

    That gravel trap is useless.

As are so many of them, in many cases they would have been better without it. Trulli saved some face for Toyota with P1.

oop's they put Buemi name on Jaime! as they are saying very strange accident with Glock, same with Jaime..DC saying such short apex causing problems; Eddie saying ride height an accident causer - they changed height on Webber thus causing loss of control..

others getting cars sideways where Jaime went straight

leg wound to Timo, not "injury" could have a suspension part have contributed to the "wound" description?? - coupled with his sickness yesterday, now this I suspect the young guy from yesterday will replace him during the race - hope he's ok.
