Ooh, wow. Mad tyte JDM shizzle yo! That's what you like most about this car?
There are guys in Japan amazed at my Willans harnesses as seen in F1.

Cool car, and the lower power level really makes them have to drive better. But they can make 300 hp across the board, so still an advantage.

You're kidding! Cars in the 500 class are even a bit quicker than GT1 class ALMS cars such as the Aston DBR9 (and they also cost less). Now this is pretty wicked..

Interesting, I thought they would be using F430GT by now.

They're using the F430GT in the ALMS series and there will be quite a few running at LeMans this year. I don't think it would be worth the effort if they're limited to 300hp to have the GTs running in the jgtc.

I saw one of these races back in 2004, the 300 class was mostly Rx7s, a couple porsche cup cars, a lamborghini diablo, the car that won the class was a C4 corvette.

No, YOU must be kidding! They may be a bit faster, but look at the body on that car. If they wanted to run that in GT1 in ALMS, they wouldn't be allowed. The fenders are completely different, and the shape was altered drastically for better airflow. Apples to oranges. That GT-R is closer to a protoype than a GT1 car.

They did try to go international but pulled back when the thought of non Japanese cars would be going against the 500 classes. They started in Malaysia then got in trouble when they told one of the Malaysian teams they could not run their cars in the 500 class.

just noticed how little space there appears to be under the Nissan's bonnet. The motor must be scraping the road!
