This is not the first time this Enzo has been vandalized. Jay told Channel 4 that whilst on holiday in Italy, the car got badly "keyed". Im sure this will be repaired in short order. At least these days its other people doing the damage. 10 years ago Jay bent his lavender Lamborghini in true rock-star fashion whilst demonstrating his driving prowess. The immortal words: "now watch this" were uttered to his passenger, and the next thing that happened is recorded in the image below... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Lesson 2: Dont take a Ferrari out as means of transportation on a night out drinking! Apparently this car is quite the night owl.... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
He wrote a song about this car. ^And yes it is typical of someone in the UK to do. Here know one is aloud to have anything nice or expensive because if they do it gets vandalised.
My understanding from Lamborghini personell in the UK, is that your statement is the "official" story. Here is Jay in the Enzo subject of this thread wondering whether these guys are laughing with him, or at him. What do you think? Image Unavailable, Please Login
From what i know about him and when i've seen him on TV etc... He seems like a likeable guy possibley got a big ego, but how can you complain about that when someones sold 25 million albums and made £40 million in the process? Of course he going to be proud of that and maybe the ego comes with that. I think that ego kinda showed when he got 1st on the Top Gear lap board. But as a whole i don't mind him and he made a good song about his Enzo so i like him for making that.
Yes, most importantly, he is an enthusiast and puts his Enzo to use as he sees fit. Here he is at Goodwood in it... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
LOL...!!! I've already committed his name to memory. Aaron Billington... It's unfortunate that this had to happen, but it could've been much worse. It's just glass, and it'll get fixed. I think it's so cool that some dude in a Supra pulled in and Jay called him over to talk about cars. Jay truly loves cars and is an obvious car nut. I would be thrilled to meet him one day. I hope that Black Devil Car haunts Aaron in his sleep.
Dearest Joe: It is "personnel". I've not heard that the accident report was contrary to Modena's comment. Jay has quite a few cars, and I haven't seen them stuffed. "Now watch this" doesn't seem plausible. Any verifiable facts to support this accusation? You probably should give credit to the original photographers in some of "your" shots too. Just a thought. Since you never manned up and returned to the F40 fence thread since your premise was disproven, you perhaps are the last person to speculate whether or not someone is laughing at or with anyone else. Hmmm Those with personal knowledge of Jay, think that he is a car guy, reasonably knowledgeable, and isn't too arrogant to admit when he's wrong, or that another may have more knowledge. He does what is called "learning". Shame about the car, glad he drives it. He can take the car out clubbing or however he wishes to use it. I've never heard him nicked for DUI, despite your inference. Guess it's another sweeping judgment of yours on musicians rather than poseurs this time. This repair won't even crack 20k-cheap.
