Are those spray painted cornflakes? I was wearing shorts and T shirt last night, almost had to turn on the air conditioner last night while sleeping, it was hot and sticky.
Drove from Denton to Carrollton with the sunroof & windows open. Granted it wasn't in a Ferrari, but an oldie BMW, so it was just as refreshing.
Well, just move to Texas, then...problem solved!! I read that 308s actually have GREAT traction in the snow......dunno when I'd ever prove it though, maybe skiing someday.
Snow, I've read about that.............. It's pretty scarce here in Monterey, Calif. where we're planning drive after drive, concours after concours. It's exhausting. Cheers, Ed
Glen, I feel your pain, I couldn't move away from the cold fast enough! You've made a mistake posting in the Texas section as all these guys are gonna do is just rub it in.. god knows I would LOL (every time a "how to winterize your bike" thread popped up on the motorcycle forums, Texas and SoCal folks always chimed in with - "what's winterizing?!") But hey, all you have to do is remind us in August what a lovely 70-degree day you are having, and you'll get even!
Our A/C has been on for a week solid now! It was like 85 today and pretty humid too so it felt ALL OF 85! Austin, TX
Quick!!! Let's all stop driving those Smarts, Priuses and Minis!!!! WE'VE REVERSED GLOBAL WARMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Man I dont miss that, I lived in Edmonton for about 9 years, as a matter of fact I graduated from Harry Ainlay (sp) high school. Yep thats right I said Harry Ainley, I dont know if I spelled it right but that was the name. I do not envy you AT ALL! Keep up the faith, you will get some sunshine pretty soon but I wouldnt take the cover off of the F-Car just yet, she is nice an cozy in the heated garage. Where do you live in Edmonton? We were in the southwest part of town, and for the life of me I cant remember the name of the area now...anyway go have a brew at Earls and wait for it to quit snowing, you shouldnt have to wait for too long now, maybe another month or so?
Actually I do live in Edmonton part-time. LOL Can't afford to heat the garage...F-cars have heaters. We no longer talk about "global warming"; now it is "climate change"! This is a record for cold and prolonged snow in April. Still have a snowfall warning for today, up to 10cm and wind.
Well I'd say I'm sorry but...well...I'm really not Here was this weekends drive: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?p=137651602#post137651602
BWAHAHAHAH! As a transplanted Canadian, I second the motion of that picture. All ya'll in cold climates hang in there. Your time will come.
At least you can still watch the Oilers in the Stanley Cup playoffs....oh wait, scratch that Go Stars!
