    In the Florida section of F-Chat, we are planning a mid-October "Panhandle Gathering" and have decided on the central panhandle town of Vernon, Florida.

    Coincidently, there was a recent write-up in Automobile by Jean Jennings about the Bugatti Veyron and her stopping in Vernon, a little Florida town in which she has had a love affair with for many years. The interesting thing is we made the decision to meet in Vernon before anyone knew about Jean Jennings' write-up.

    Now, here is where I need someone's help...someone's help to put me in touch with Jean Jennings from Automobile mag. Somehow, I want to let her know that FerrariChat will be organizing a panhandle-wide exotic car drive into Vernon and thought maybe she would entertain covering this event in a future edition of Automobile. I've got to believe that with the memebership we have on this forum, someone here knows Jean Jennings, or could pass her the word...anyone?

    Any ideas on how to get in touch with her?

    In the mag, they have email addresses for (A) reprints and (B) subscription help. No email addresses listed for any of the editors, writers, office managers, etc. Trust me...I looked.

    There is the phone number to the editorial offices in Ann Arbor, but that may be my last chance move.

    A couple of weeks ago my local Porsche Club had the monthly meeting with guest speaker David E. Davis- if you had let me know, I could have asked him directly as I did have the chance to speak to him before the meeting!

    By the way, he told me if I get a Ferrari I may be wishing for the porsche back- he bought a Ferrari when Automobile mag was sold, and I guess he found them to be too high maintenance (compared to a porsche)- didn't sway me- I still want one :) There were many things I wanted to ask him, but of course blanked out when I actually met him...oh well.
