  1. With one important addition, I'd agree..."changes". ;)

Racing at the Jeddah Corniche, Aston Martin predict the opening lap could see a “flashpoint” as the drivers all try to squeeze into Turn 1.

Yep. Looks like a similar squeeze to monaco. Short straight then tight corner. Bound to be carnage at some point in this race.

Plus the fast flowing sections look to have limited run off, so Mazespin is bound to bin it spectacularly too.

Williams Racing can confirm that CEO and Team Principal Jost Capito has tested positive for COVID-19 prior to travelling to Jeddah for this weekend’s Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

Jost is now following UK national health authority guidelines. There has been no wider impact on Williams Racing personnel and the team will continue to operate trackside as planned.

The low bridge concern reminds me of Mansell bonking his head on the overpass, I think it was Austria.

There was some film where a single seater flew up into the end of lap bridge at Road Atlanta, yes, but I can't recall the name.

More importantly Carlos Sainz voiced real concerns today: very high speeds+ no visibility, no chance to react in time means high danger of serious pile up accidents, and he made clear fast Marshall response to crashes will be vital.

I will add vital literally. No t bone scenario please...

Can't copy paste the link on my phone but see his comments on autosport.com

Crofty says Mercedes will try and save as much power in the spicy "Brasil" engine. So, limit its running by only bolting it on from Saturday onwards. Something we all know is a good plan to maintain life in the PU.

I'd love Max to put it away this weekend. But that means he must win and Lewis can't score more than 7. Long shot but possible. That would give Max 377 and Lewis 350 going into the last race. And if Max doesn't score any in that race, and Lewis wins, he still only has 376...one less than Max.
