Williams Racing can confirm that CEO and Team Principal Jost Capito has tested positive for COVID-19 prior to travelling to Jeddah for this weekend’s Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. Jost is now following UK national health authority guidelines. There has been no wider impact on Williams Racing personnel and the team will continue to operate trackside as planned.

More importantly Carlos Sainz voiced real concerns today: very high speeds+ no visibility, no chance to react in time means high danger of serious pile up accidents, and he made clear fast Marshall response to crashes will be vital. I'd love Max to put it away this weekend. But that means he must win and Lewis can't score more than 7. Long shot but possible. That would give Max 377 and Lewis 350 going into the last race. And if Max doesn't score any in that race, and Lewis wins, he still only has 376...one less than Max.
