My wife overheated my 2011 Grand Cherokee Hemi. Any recommendations for a place to rebuild/replace the motor?

Oh yeah, I'm back in Houston but the 308 is still in Scottsdale:(

Thanks! Any idea where I should get my jeep rebuilt? Look forward to getting the 308 here and getting together.

i've used RMS on Westheimer and it was a pretty decent experience on a Jeep Liberty.
How bad did it overheat and what is it doing now?

Local shop said 285 degrees recorded. It wont run without over heating. I have not looked at it since I'm here and it is in Scottsdale. I will check that shop out.

I have a mobile technician, can handle anything.

    Honda Certified.

You have a place for him to work?
I just put my 25th TransAm into his apartment garage..

It runs could always move it back out.

He can resurface the heads and go cheap, or drop a crate motor, either way.

Due to all the labor hours, most all shops will be quick to rebuild an engine. I have to recommend buying a lightly used engine for drop in. Labor is very much less, with less risk of a bad build. Using my car-part source, I see one place in the whole country that has a similar engine, with only 19k miles. If the price is right, you can have them ship to the shop of your choice. Shipping is cheap, <$500.
