Did you guys see the recent episode of Car Crazy with Jeff Beck? He has been an avid car guy since the late 50s! He has a neat collection of mostly American cars from the 30s, 40s and 50s...

Is this guitarist Jeff Beck? I listened to his 'Wired' album 10,000 times in college.

I love Jeff Beck. I think he is the most underated guitarist of his generation. Just awsome. The first 'Rock' tape I ever got was Bon Jovi's 'Blaze of Glory'. I was 9 and had no idea who the guitarist was, I just knew it was the coolest thing I'd ever heard. His playing on Rod Stewart's 'People Get Ready' is perfect, it elevates what would probably be a passable song to greatness. I have slowly come around to jazz fusion in the last year or so, so his 70's albums have become more important. The live album with Jan Hammer is awsome.

Beck was the most original guitarist in the last few decades... sad to see him go. I wonder what his wife will do with his car collection. Would be cool to see one land in Ohio at the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.
