He has had a second bite of the Top Gear track in a reasonably priced car. This time the track was the same conditions as Lewis Hamilton, he still was slower than LH :)
I am the first to admit TG is only a bit of fun. But i cant help but think this is an early indication of what the 2010 season will bring for him at Maclaren :)

Yes it twas a great one, JB was abit to forth coming with excuses for my liking.

Logic says Lewis will hammer him, although I hope not, he may come good with less attrition on his car compared to Lewis.

Either way Mclaren have a pretty good chance of getting one of them some good results.

What I did find quite interesting JB said, was that when he was overtaking (as clips were being shown of his race in Brazil) he deliberately got the back end of his car to step out so as to ward off or fend off a attack back on the next corner, quite a ballsy thing to do when he was trying to wrap up the WDC on that race, in which he did.

Hamilton's time comes in part from cutting the hammerhead. He straightened it out quite a bit.

Suzuki Liana? Wasn't the reasonably priced car a Chevy?

Normal SIARPC drive the Chevy Lacetti, F1 drivers still drive the Suzuki Liana.

Obviously there was no way he was going to be faster than last time, it was just an excuse to get the new world champion on the show and make England look good for a change. Although I did like the bit about his Veyron.

Brazil Hamilton on an impromptu one stopper started to places behind Button and finished to places in front of Button in the slower McLaren. In addition to a few other one stop races for Hamilton where he finished several places up from where he started. I think Hamilton will be as much as 4/10 quicker than Button on a good day.
