If MS does win the last three remaining GP's, Button would be the last Michelin driver to win prior to Michelin's leaving the series. "Hopefully we are going to get in the way (of the contenders)", stated Button. "I'm not going to purposefully get in the way of the championship, but we want to get the best results we can". (Jenson, as long as you finish behind MS and in front of FA, more power to you.)
+1 If Button's forecasts are as reliable as his commitment to contracts, then Ferrari will be in trouble!
Come on, let's be nice to Jenson, he won his first GP, he has new energy. I hope he is right. I would be happy if he were batting 660!
Overcast with possible storms in the afternoon. Weather that would help the Michelins and Alonso. Looking forward to watch Massa being lapped once or twice.
If it absolutely poured, the Bstone teams would theoretically have the upper hand. Light rain though is the death of them with the current construction differences between wets and inters.
Thats a pretty weird comment to make on a Ferrarifan site. But hey, whatever works for you of course.
all I see is a driver who is at least capable enough to be a Ferraridriver. Question remains: why bash Massa?
That's not even a question. The real issue is whether Massa will manage to stay in the same lap as Kimi or not and whether he'll be able to collect any points for the team. Things he wasn't particularly good at in Monza or Hungary. People look at Turkey and think that's it. Look at the man's questionable past up to that point. It's kinda like saying Button has arrived now that he won Hungary.
Well, according to AUTOSPORT, Massa thinks that Raikkonen will let him fight for the title next year. What about that for confidence! I can't see Kimi saying "After you, Felipe" myself... We have heard the same song from Jenson Button at the begining of every season for the last 5 years. Then, after the first GP and a reality check, comes the announcement that Honda is not ready yet.
What so useless about Massa? He has done a fine job all season and if anything he had matured quite a lot since his Sauber years. Apperantly, those in control at Ferrari, happen to feel the same way. His contract got extended, if you'd care enough to even notice.
Spewing your venom now in the racing section? Nice going. Ferrari was so impressed with Massa they would have relegated him to test driver had MS stayed on. That's how valuable he is.
