    Both of them just seemed to give up a bit when it mattered most. Just like in Germany where Alonso really did not try very hard to pass Massa and received a gift from the pit wall at the cost of $100,000, he really never had a solid go at Petrov. I think even Petrov was surprised!

    Yes agreed, his quote seems to back up my point.

    Petrov admitted after the race that he would have avoided crashing into the Spaniard "if he had tried a move".

    I can understand the not taking chances angle, but ...the result speaks for itself, and I of course I'm sat in front of a TV...:eek:

    Yes LH had a far better race than either Mark or Alonso, and yes I will agree that he gave it a go, even though the odds were far worse for him.
