    Check out this website and see if the book interests you. There's a goofy knick-knack store down the street from me that has nine of them for only $7 apiece. Regularly retails for $35, and it's kind of a cool book with lots of great old b&w photos. If there are any takers I'll be happy to send one off to you. Andreas, I mentioned this before and you said you were interested, so I'll save one for you.

    Thanks Jack! Miltonian is another keeper of the holy grail, so reserve him one. I'm forvever indebted to him for his behind the sofa copies of VHS tapes of F1 races from the seventies. Something that might interest you too.

    Absolutely. I guess the best way is to just email me your address. It seems like there are more copies there than before, so I'll ask if they can get more. Right now we've got 3 spoken for.

    $7 for this book is a steal. Are they hardback? I did get my copy from Jesse out at the Monterey Historics. He signed it as well. I became really interested in some of his photos he had but the price is slightly out of reach for me right now. I do however also have a signed & framed poster I had picked up out of Sacramento from a record dealer in a trade. He wanted $200 for this. A signed poster @ his booth was $75 but not framed. If your copies are not signed I will get you his info and you all may be able to send them to him to get signed. By the way, Jesse is a very nice man.

    Yes, they're hardcover. To be honest, I hadn't heard of him until last fall when I stumbled across the books. What's strange is that the store where I found them is one of these miscellaneous, kitschy gag-gift type stores, but in the back they've got a random selection of books. I saw it and flipped through it, and wanted it because of the pictures regardless of the price. I didn't even notice until I got home that they normally retail for $35.

    Okay, I've sent out 4 books to Bill, Jeff, Andreas and William. They're going by ground, so it will be a couple days. I'm running in a half-marathon tomorrow, so I'll try to get the rest out by Monday.

    I just wanted to touch base. I haven't had a chance to get any more books out yet--family matters have prevailed. I've got 3 or 4 left, so I'll hopefully be able to get those off to you who requested one perhaps by Monday.

    Many, many thanks Jack! Got my book in the mail and it is simply gorgous!

    The photography is so beautiful and the cars and the times oh so nostalgic and romantic. It is not like looking at F1 (as I know it), but rather at a time and its magic long gone.

    This book is a wonderful addition to the collection, thanks Jack.
