Hey all, The guy I sold my 308 to last year had a bad turn of events and had the car stolen and wrecked. He recovered it but then sold it to another that supposedly sold it to Jesse James. I cannot confirm that it was sold to Jesse but I do know the guy I sold my car to was a straight shooter. If anyone know Jesse or knows how to reach him please IM me. I would love to know what he is going to do with the car. I know it's a long shot throwing it out this way but one never knows.
He works out at my gym. He was telling me he recently bought an Enzo sold his 575 and has about 60 cars total. Haven't seen him lately. No offense but I'd be surprised if he'd be adding a 308 to his collection, but you never know. I could ask if the opportunity arises.
Jesse Jame's bought an Enzo? Do you know which one (possible one of the ones that was at Ferrari of O.C.)? But to stay on topic, I hope he doesn't plan on doing something stupid with it on Monster Garage (assuming he has it).
I think you're going to see your 308 on Monster Garage. It's going to be chopped up and turned into a mobile welding shop or something by high school students.
No offense taken. If the op arises please do ask. I loved that car. IMHO The 308 may not be fast or expensive but it is a wonder of style and proportion. It would not suprise me at all if he bought one.
In all seriousness, the 308 was modified into a pasta maker on an upcoming episode of Monster Garage. One of the local (Chicagoland) mechanics was involved in the transformation. The episode is scheduled to air March 20 and 21.
I hope that's not true. That car was my first ever Ferrari ride, and it left Texas in beautiful shape Edit: damn. http://dsc.discovery.com/tvlistings/episode.jsp?episode=83&cpi=23686&gid=9239&channel=DSC
NOOO!!!! I like that show but never wanted to see a Ferrari get destroyed on it. Hope they don't totally change the car.
Hmm, guess I was wrong.......HE ADDED IT TO HIS PASTA MAKING COLLECTION! At least you've got something to tell the kids
Anyone know what happened to his 360 Challenge car? I met him in Montreal two years ago at his first Challenge race, but didn't see him compete much after that....
He backed into a wall driving a NASCAR at some insane speed and shattered his ankle. I think that may have been the wake up call.
Doug Perone from Berlinetta Motor Cars in LI NY was also part of the transformation crew. He was told by the producers that it looks like the series is being canceled so this show won't air.
I just looked on the Discovery Channel website: DSC Monster Garage The Noodler. Airs March 20th and 21st. http://dsc.discovery.com/tvlistings Mamma mia! Jesse James and a crew of Italian-American builders cook up the world's fastest (and only) pasta making European import. Yes, pasta made from scratch inside an Italian sports car ready to deliver 100mile an hour sauce! The car had 98,000 miles on it when it came onto the Monster Garage set.
I thought distroying a Ferrari was a criminal offense in most states, at least it should be. What's next, turning an Enzo into a port-a-potty ? No respect for classic automotive art.
It's sad to hear, but he bought it and he can do whatever he wants with it. Hell, Jim is going to scrap an Enzo for some new creation.
i dont see how this is an interesting show . i dont get it. the things he does with cars is completely assinine and pointless.
