Loose translation: Jenson has been keeping his mind on other things besides the Honda issue during the off season. Go Button! :D

37% of this entire forum's front page at this point is articles that you have copied from other sources and reposted.

We do have access to F1 sites ourselves, you know.

Maybe you could think up something to post instead of just copying/pasting all day?

The simple solution for you is just put me on Ignore, then no one has to listen to your complaints. Other people/moderators have expressed in the past that they are interested.

Hallelujah and amen to that. At least that statement has come from a "subscribed" and "respected" poster.

I have no problem with article / links from somewhere else. Actually I appreciate that people take the time to gather and post info from different sources even though I also visit F1 sites myself. Keep them coming. :)

Good to see that Button is keeping his chin up! Nice looking girl.

Wow, what are all you guys beating up on Jim for? One of my favorite posters, really knows his stuff. Maybe if you guys took the time to read his links, you would know yours.

I don't know about anyone else but I also appreciate it when people take the time to post links from others sites. I don't have the time to sift through all of them myself and I find many of the stories interesting. Were it not for people like Jim I might never see them.
Back on the subject, great for Jenson. I'm glad he's keeping his mind off things...:)

For once I have to disagree. :)

I do appreciate it when folks like Jim post these articles. Yes, a bunch of it is just on www.formula1.com, but not all.

I don't like it when all the stories support one trend (bashing Hami for instance), but we all have it in our power to post threads to the opposite. :)

And Bravo to Button: That is one hot piece of action. The yacht I mean.

PS: The thread title reminds me of Stephanie's (from Monaco) Pool Position bikini brand.

If we have 3 people doing what you do, then we could reasonably expect that the entire forum would be essentially 100% copies of news postings copied and pasted from other sites.

F1 will clearly never be an F1 news site... so what gets posted? In general, it's been topics that are relevant and interesting and generally promote interesting discussion amongst the users.

Topics like "Hamilton upstaged by Saudi prince" and "Button on a yacht with a woman" are hardly interesting news tid-bits.

-If you are not going to post ALL the news, then it fails if the intent was to make the F1 section a news site.
-Since we clearly don't want or need a news site, then cherry picking articles (useless inane ones at that) is just cluttering the forum.

What's the point? Post count? I don't get it.

I'm just voicing my opinion - I don't expect everyone to agree (because, not everyone is right all the time, except for me, of course) :)

Jim just posts tons of junk that is utterly useless... I don't see the point of it. I can go to any one of 10 different sites and get the same. The section will never be a replacement for a news site, to the junk is just clutter.

But... for arguments sake... if I did the same thing and 20 of the topics on the front page are Jim's bloviations and 20 are mine, leaving 5 or so 'actual' topics, does that a good site make? I'll say no. And what about when someone wants to be dork #3 and get their 20 topics in? So given that it's something that can only in moderation, wouldn't almost 40% of the whole section being taken up by one person, by definition, not be "moderation"?

    Jeebus I am eloquent! :D

Mike, don't like his posts, put him on your ignore list. I don't see what you are whining and moaning for.

I don't mind jk0001 (or however many zeros it is) copying and pasting stuff at all. Beats having to look for it myself. U no likey, u no read.

Yes, that is a niiiice yacht. And the story about the Saudi prince or whoever it was trying to shoot Hammy out of the saddle re PCD chick was hilarious. I would try it myself on the woman of my dreams, but Adrienne has already left the Cheetah Girls so it just wouldn't be the same.

Although Jim posts links and stuff from other sites, to me they seem like conversation starters. OK, this one starts a conversation that takes in the fate and distractions for the ex-Honda driver now that Honda has pulled the plug - worth a chat, I would have thought. What about whoever would have driven in Rubens place (who was that going to be?) - a lost opportunity. And what happends to all the experienced guys at Honda etcetera, etcetera, and the sale of the bsuiness? And no moe Honda F1 engines? And so on. Is Toyota next? Maybe not quite yet but Toyota are pulling the plug on some serious rally sponsorships here in Australia. And so it goes. I think we need to "play the ball" here and not "play the player".

i don't see whats the big issue. Sometimes, some of us don't have the time, or just forgets to check on normal F1 sites whats the latest updates, etc. Some of us, straight comes into Fchat the moment we start the computer. So, whats better than greeting the F1 section with the latest news>?

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1135520/Revealed-The-Japanese-underwear-model-driving-Formula-One-star-Jenson-Button-wild.html

Formula One driver Jenson Button has found love with a stunning Japanese lingerie model.

The former Honda racing ace, 29, started dating brunette Jessica Michibata a few weeks ago and is said to be 'smitten' already.
Jenson has been wining and dining Jessica, 24, all over London and were spotted at the capital's exclusive Nobu restaurant this week.

A friend says: 'It is early days but she and Jenson really seem to have hit it off.
'They’re having great fun at the moment and getting to know each other - but they both seem very keen. There is definitely an attraction.'
Jessica appears to be equally smitten with the driver, and updated her recent Facebook status saying 'Jessica is very happy, but I'm not telling why.'
The model owes her exotic looks to her Japanese mother and an Argentine father with Spanish and Italian origins.

She regularly appears in underwear and swimwear adverts in her native Japan and has modelled for Evian, Lux, Uniqlo and Reebok.
She also writes a film column for monthly magazine Soup.

Jessica is the latest beauty in Jenson's high-profile love life.
He previously dated model Florence Brudenell-Bruce for 18 months before splitting in January last year.
He was engaged to Fame Academy contestant and actress Louise Griffiths before the ended their five year relationship in May 2005.

    Go Button! :D

    Holy ****, go Button!

I for one am fairly ok with JK0001's threads. I'm on a slow connection therefore I can only load very little stuff...Most f1 websites want quite a lot of bandwith so I wont see the page i clicked till about next tuesday. If you don't like one's thread why even bother clicking on it?
