JGTC begins Dec 18th

JGTC is coming to the US for the first time ever on Dec 18th. GT racing with production cars developed with parts for the automotive aftermarket. 2 classes, GT500 (500HP) & GT300 (300HP), both on the same track, same time. Ferrari's and Lambo's also race in this series

Also, the top 3 qualifies of the current race and top 3 finishers of the last race get a weight penalty to even out the racing (i think that is what they told me).

I am very excited to see this race series and have it broadcast here during a normal hour.

on a downside though, i see the rice factor of imports increasing dramatically to look like these cars.

 

Where are they racing?

 

Irwindale speedway in California. First time ever in the US. Actually, not the whole JGTC, but the JGTC All Stars.

 

Are the Race Queens coming with them!?

As a matter of fact they are. They are even hiring more race queens to be there.
