    Wondered if any knew how many Countach Jim Loose Imports of Palo Alto, CA imported back in the 1980s. He was also an Aston Martin and Lotus dealer. I know of 1 LP400S "Series 1" he brought in.

    Yes, this is the standard issue DOT VIN identification plate as used by USA importers of the era, this car is 1121050, imported by Jim Loose, it went to George Stauffer in Wisconsin, parked alongside a Le Mans-winning GT40, he sold this car to Japan some 20 years ago or so.
