Simply cannot fathom this. If they are too stupid to sign at the very least Hulkenburg then I'm not sure I can support them 100% next year.

LOL, you can always count on a Massa fan for a good laugh. Thanks!

Remember his surge in the second half of the season last year, when his drive was put at stake? (he produced actually a good drive protecting Fernando in Brazil, for instance).
My guess is that in the next three-four races he will step-up his game, be displaying some good racecraft, and then the Scuderia will announce his renewal.
I maybe wrong on this, but somehow I think this is what will happen.

Mind me asking why you find this good news?

Other than being pretty much the invisible man it seems to me JT hasn't done too much wrong as yet. I actually like a lot of his ideas, particularly the "simple majority" needed for rule changes etc.

This David Ward guy was a close confidante of the Lunatic!..... Worrying at best..... "Better the devil you know" maybe?

    Cheers,
    Ian

Incumbent complacency is never good but this guy smells like trouble.

JT must be doing something right if he's being challenged.

Since Todt has started, the FIA has lost quite a lot of my respect. Last example the farsical Michelin coming back voices. We need more transparency and less politics.

Not to tell that the reason Massa is still at Ferrari is because of him, to pay his son the due amount of money.

I'm not for "better the devil you know" but for a "be the best at your job or you're out" karma.

And I can't believe Whiting is still there on this matter.

These are my thoughts exactly. He's not bringing that much to the tally. If Monza
turns to be as uneventful and unspiring drive for Massa, I think he should kiss goodbye
    his F tenure.

Todt contributed to Formula One teams' money crisis - Mosley | News | Motorsport.com

I actually liked Mosley's proposal of new F1 tech such as 4wd allowed to teams staying inside budget and still find the way he's been put in the spotlight just al slimy as his orgies with some possible involvement from the secret services and organised by the slimiest of newspapers owned by the slimiest of entrepreneurs, the consequences of which have been probably the death of Mosley's son and the slimy Toad to head a now farsical FIA.

On the bright side, though, I guess that at the seventh dwarf we'll finally get to see Snow White.

I'm sorry, but it sounds like you're suggesting that there was more transparency and less politics pre-Todt, under Max Mosley's reign?!??!!

Since we know that's impossible, as Mosley was the absolute master of obscure patronage, no transparency, extreme politics, then perhaps you could clarify what you really meant? While there may be some areas that could be more transparent, Todt's reign has absolutely been a huge improvement over the Mosley era.

I don't prefer Mosley to Todt (or maybe I actually do, thinking about it) but that's not the point. I don't think Toadt is ideal and someone new could be the best choice. And just because he has worked with the former could not be all bad. Mosley was more technology and car centric while there are no relevant innovations from the latest years. Most of all what I don't like is no competition at all with presidents elected without any other contenders. Sepp Blatter anyone?

No matter who is in the seat they swim in the same polluted water and no "normal" person wants such a job
That being said Jean is a good deal saner than Max.

There is a consideration to be taken on the if the polluted waters alter the fish or if only the already altered fish can survive the pollution. I lost my point where were we? Oh yes toads evoluted from fish but which one would you prefer as your dinner?

We have to deal with the situation as it is not as we'd like it to be.
If nothing else JT has done the job in the office not in the press. The FIA is always going to be political, its never going to be democratic.

That sounds sad. I prefer you when you make jokes Vizsla!

And I bet the feeling is reciprocal. ;)
