    Well guys I am sorry to report to you that in a weak moment I let my beloved GTB go to someone else. A local guy has been wanting it for about a year. Everytime he sees me he ask about the car and offers to take it off my hands. Yesterday I stopped by his shop (performance marine) for some boating supplies and he showed me one of his cars. A 97 Dodge Viper. THe Viper is cherry with only 18K miles, silver with red leather interior. He was putting the car up for sale and asked me if I knew anyone looking. He then said we could do some trading on the GTB if I wanted. So I took the car for a test drive and WOW..do those things move! So after a couple of hours of negotiations, a few beers we traded titles and I even got a nice credit at the marine store to boot! I hope the Fchat community will forgive me?

    i think its cool. im not a huge fan of the viper, but i can imagine what an 8+ litre v10 must feel like. that thing is a real tire shredder im sure. very different from a 308. life is short, if you cant afford to buy them all, i say keep a good rotation going to get all the experiences you can.

    Hope everyone had a great April 1st. April Fools Day! hahahaha I had my local friends and relatives convinced I was moving to Fort Knox KY to take a position at the gold vault! lol Several "offered" to keep the car for me but nobody offered to keep my cat? Hummm?

    No I didn't trade the GTB for a Dodge. A DODGE? Come on guys! lol A DODGE? hahahah In fact today I ordered belts and the newly designed bearings to do my engine work later this month. Here's a photo to prove she's still in my stable. Hope everyone had fun today. I sure did! :)

    Thank god. I couldn't believe anyone would trade that gorgoeus GTB for anything, let alone a Viper.

    Mike, the sad thing is my first car (as a 15 year old in 1974) was a 64 Barracuda. A small V-8 (273ci i think?), black with red interior, a set of cragers and 14" 70 series tires all the way around. 8track of course in the dash. It was not a creampuff showcar but I had a good time with it on the backroads of central Alabama. I ended up selling it I think for $500.00 to buy a motorcycle. Got my first real kiss in that car! God I wish I still had it!

    Tillman, man......you ain't right! But I guess I deserve it! hahahah Ive actually been saving that pic for the "worse Magnum PI impersonation of all time" contest! hahahaha What was I thinking? lol You can actually see the alcohol from the night before detoxing from my pores. This was what 9? 10am the next day? Ive still got the shirt too! :)

    You had me. But if you still have Dodges on your mind, I'll sell you my winter car cheap. It's a white Chevy Caprice. During the winter, it gets really dirty from the top of the wheel wells down. You could tell people it has a Boxer paint job.
