Living off your wife's inheritance somehow seems more honorable to me than what the Bush family has done to make their fortunes. That family has been involved in so much sketchy stuff it's ridiculous. Perhaps not of Marcos levels, but damn close.

Rule #1: All politicians are full of it.

I think I'll write in myself this year too: i'm full of it enough to not be a violation of rule #1, ha!

y'know, i think kerry's a bad candidate for president. the democrats have done a sub-optimal job of sourcing a candidate. just like every other senator and every other presidential candidate and every other president and vice president who has gone before him - john kerry is an obnoxious guy. let's be frank, you don't get that far in this system without being an *******. it can't be done.

BUT this pilot sounds like a real whiny two year old. those missions were attempts to repatriate the remains and effects of and/or trying to determine the status of service men who went MIA fighting for our country. hot and sweaty for an hour? hungry for a day? gimme a break. i think those "MIA soldiers" would gleefully trade their status for "hot soldier" or "hungry soldier" or, yes even, "hot and hungry soldier". what a twerp.

those missions to southeast asia were important to our country, valuable to geo political stability, and most relevantly, insanely crucial to the tortured families of those lost soldiers who perished there MIA.

is john kerry an ass? you bet he is! he's a privileged, rich, white, upper class snob. of course, so's GWB.

does john kerry deserve your vote? probably not - in my opinion. i won't vote for john kerry because of his stance and plans on the issues that face this country.

i'm not going to make my election decisions based on the advice of a whiny air force pilot.

    doody.

Its all just opposite sides of the same coin. The CFR controls everything and Kerry is a member with affiliations to banking, foreign commerce and finance and intelligence per my Who's who of the elite book.

The US is like a crazed person living on credit cards with no max limit. Constantly shuffling debt from card to card to avoid the fall. Trying to increase earning enough to make the min payment.

It doesn't matter who is at the helm it will end. The house will fall. Think of the Romans...falling because they simply got too big to protect all their new borders.

Here's the article I was thinking of about Kerry's voting on defense and intelligence. Complete with bill numbers, and some choice quotes from the administration at the time. Dunno where I got the 95/5 vote.. I must've been thinking about something else.

    http://slate.msn.com/id/2096127

Although I could care less about him, the GOP slandering of his voting record in this case is completely unjustified.. but how many people do you think actually check into these things? It's sad that politicians can completely tear someone down with false accusations, lies, and misquotes, simply because they know that no one will bother to check their facts. The email I got said Kerry wanted to get rid of the CIA and take away our soldiers' weapons! it must be true!

Sadly, I'm not American, but if I could vote. I would have voted ANYONE else besides Bush. He runs with the biggest loss of many then any president in your country's history because of his stupid wars. He is running with the most absurd foreing policy and must be stopped if not wanted to be hated by many more country's then he already is. He should focus on problems in your own country instead. Homeless, starving people, an extremely more effective gun control (since the one excisting now isn't that good) and many other things that could be solved with all the money he uses to kill people with.

Luckily, your opinion means ZERO. If it were not for OUR country everyone else in the world would be in sad, sad shape, including your little country. Lucky you have the US or you would be eating bratwurst and spraken zi deutsche (spelling?) right now (no offense intended to our German chatters). Our policy is ABSURD? The problem is that, with all due respect, your country and it's place in the world and it's economic strength are so insignificant that YOU are not the target of crazed, xenophobic, radical fundamentalists. If you were, you would not be speaking this IGNORANCE. Bottom line is, just like class envy within our own country, the rest of the world's naked, pathetic jealously for the US and it's position as the world's ONLY superpower, both economically and militarily, always rears it's ugly head UNTIL one of you NEEDS something from us; then it's "please protect us from so and so, please loan us money, please protect us from Soviet ballistic missiles, please bail out our pathetic economy...etc" You guys OUGHT to be happy and supportive that this man has the COURAGE and the CONVICTION to do the right thing, even in the face of opposition and adversity. Study your history, all of you little teeny-tiny European countries all went to the League of Nations in the late 1930's and were so pacifist that you LAID DOWN like little bitc*hes while Hitler marched into your country, pillaged, raped your women and destroyed your culture. But BIG DADDY USA came to your rescue didn't he? Just like france today, count your blessings, without us you wouls ALL be in a lot of trouble. Problem is, no one KNOWS any history any more, or they conveniently choose to forget (France, England,et al.) when it suits their purposes. The UN, there's another joke. The most inept, politically castrated and impotent organization to EVER exist. They love to defame and complain, but they sure do come to us with their hands out. Your comments are very succinctly uninformed.

I know my history dude. So you say, because you saved us before, you are not entitled to do anything you want (US) and we cannot complain because we are so small. That's exactly why I am saying these, because of that arrogance you are proving now. I really can't stand people who think they are better than others because they are richer and bigger. It's disgusting.

I do not envy the US of its richness and greatness, that some bull****. You don't know me, so you are in no position to tell me how I feel towards the US. This has something to do with me not supporting war. I will not EVER support a war, and your, imho, ignorant president has already started two in 4 years. I cannot accept such aggresivity. But as I said, I don't live in US. You speak of freedom of speech and such greatness of the US. But really? When someone gives critism of your country's presiden (me) I get hammered with things done 50 years ago, and uses that as an excuse. Now he has come forward to ban gay marriages? Bush says he want's to give more rights to the middle east country's, but takes rights away from his own population in form of a proposal to ban gay marriages.

Bush and Blair has also been nomineed to the Nobel Peace Price. Fair enough, they have made the earth a safer place, no doubt. BUT with many innocent lives lost, which had nothing to do with it. In my oponion it shouldn't be possible to win the prize if you have started a war as an method to make peace. That's not right.

But not all bad things are to be said. I love your country, and I someday would like to live there. A lof of opportunities, and greatness. But your current administration, I wouldn't pay 2 cents to shake Bush's hands. Can't stand that man.

Damn, that was quite a bit :D

Who said they did? - But because we are small, doesn't mean we should be ignored and not heard. Like all other small countries. There are a few. Again, please refrain from that arrogance. You are NOT better than me, regardless what you think.

KDS is from Canada, not the US.

In Europe they just hate Bush because their news and politicos want to assert something. Ironically, Germany is the real breeding ground for young Islamic terrorists, with radical mosques that pick up Middle Eastern college students who are alienated by the German racism against Turks, Greeks, and Middle Easterners in general. Even the national gov't magazine, "Deutschland" is full of articles by professors analyzing the social problems Germany is having with the rift between immigrants and native Germans.

Here's a forward I got from a professor who is a comrade-in-conservative-arms. It's an internet forward, so take it with a grain of salt, but revealing nonetheless:

    ____________________________________
Some claim President Bush shouldn't have started this war. They
complain about his prosecution of it. One liberal recently claimed Bush was the worst president in U.S. history.

Let's clear up one point: We didn't start the war on terror. Try to remember, it was started by terrorists on 9/11.

Let's look at the "worst" president and mismanagement claims.

FDR led us into World War II. Germany never attacked us: Japan did.
From 1941-1945, 450,000 lives were lost, an average of 112,500 per year.

Truman finished that war and started one in Korea, North Korea never
attacked us. From 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were lost, an average of
    18,333 per year.

John F. Kennedy started the Vietnam conflict in 1962. Vietnam never
attacked us. Johnson turned Vietnam into a quagmire. From 1965-1975, 58,000 lives were lost, an average of 5,800 per year.

Clinton went to war in Bosnia without UN or French consent, Bosnia
never attacked us. He was offered Osama bin Laden's head on a platter three
times by Sudan and did nothing. Osama has attacked us on multiple
    occasions.

In the two years since terrorists attacked us, President Bush has
liberated two countries, crushed the Taliban, crippled al-Qaida, put nuclear
inspectors in Lybia, Iran and North Korea without firing a shot, and
captured a terrorist who slaughtered 300,000 of his own people. We have
lost 600 soldiers, an average of 300 a year. Bush did all this abroad while not allowing another terrorist attack at home.

Worst president in history? Come on!

Because of Bush's quick retreatment in Iran, the Taleban is rising in Iran again. Bush also did all that without UN consent as you used in another example.

Oh, and I do not think Bush is the worst President in history.

    Bush never went into Iran........yet.

I think you have your countries confused.

As for Denmark......Jonas......your opinion and those of your countrymen and others in the EEC (some of our friends in the UK excepted of course) will start to have merit on our side of the pond when and if you move here.

Lead...follow...or get out of the way...it's easy to be a critical leftist thinker when you are safe on your frigid snow covered windswept rock.....Denmark has never accounted for anything yet.....nor for that matter has the UN.....if my arrogance disturbs you I have made my point.

No one in the world has the right to tell me or any country what they can and cannot do if they have been attacked and must defend themselves. No one.....anyways...to stay on topic here.....Kerry is "atypical" of what in general is wrong with the vast majority of Europe and other parts of the world today..."Kanaduh" included.

And this is connected to Iraq somehow? Come on! Very few people in the world disagree with rooting out the taliban and going after Osama. In other words, they support the "war on terror". But Iraq has nothing to do with that!

Jonas, I meant no PERSONAL insults here, merely a statement regarding WORLD views and politics. BTW, we don't NEED the UN's approval for anything whatsoever, they would not exist were it not for us, nor would they have any money were it not for us. Secondly, the UN feels no compunction whatsoever CONDEMNING the US about this or that and THEN say to us "please go into Somolia, or Haiti, or wherever and put YOUR lives at risk and YOUR money at risk and YOUR assets at risk to help out (insert name here of pathetic, wimpy, poverty stricken country). FOCK Koffi Ahnan, he's nothing but a poverty pimp, just like we have here in the US in the likes of Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, et al. who are so afraid of losing their control over people's hearts, minds, votes, and most importantly, MONEY, that they think they actually have relevance. Just like organized labor in this country has LONG SINCE outlived its usefullness, so too has the UN. And the World Court, get real. That wimp, skirt chaser Clinton signed that piece of garbage and subjected US CITIZENS to the vagaries of a bunch of leftist intellectuals somewhere in the Hague; most people in this country, however, know NOTHING about that because they do not read a newspaper or watch the news. The World Court jurisdictions actually stated that all participating members would subject it's citizens and leaders to off-the-wall rulings and edicts and criminal codes that would be dictated, tried and carried out overseas. Thank God President Bush had enough sense to IMMEDIATELY bow out of that agreement and reverse Clinton's signature. Otherwise, and you Americans pay attention to this: in an extreme example, Islamicists could bring charges against OUR President for going after the Taliban or Al Quaeda, as a result of US being attacked on our OWN soil, and if their was enough support for the charges, a sitting US President could be tried and convicted and even EXECUTED for war crimes, all on the decisions of a bunch of elitist, socialist intellectuals in Western Europe. NO THANKS, GOD LOOKS WITH FAVOR UPON THE US of A and WE ARE NOT SUBJECT TO YOUR POLITICALLY CORRECT DRIVEL.

PLEASE, England (London, et al.) was bombed into the stone age. The RAF was rendered impotent by Hitlers Luftwaffa, and German troops occupied London!! I thought you KNEW history. Oh, and let's not forget the stinky-cheese eating, panty waste French whose Vichy government COLLABORATED with the Nazis to subjugate THEIR OWN PEOPLE. They threw up their hands and turned their own virgin daughters over to Nazi rapists so as to preserve their own little fiefdoms. The asshats in France forget that over 50,000 AMERICAN souls died in ONE freakin' day on THEIR beach, so they could have the freedom and rights they enjoy today. Sorry pal... your argument if full of more holes than a piece of swiss.
