    I saw this on a documentary on the man in black a couple months back. Johnny Cash did have a 308! He was joking around for the camera and demonstrating the proper methodology for getting out of the car. He seemed all smiles. And no, they did not say what the serial number is!

    Wait a minute - after watching the film, the sequence of stills in post #1 is reversed and that was actually how he got IN to the car! Getting out, he sort of rolled over and crawled out.

    I can't get the video on my computer just the pictures but from what I can see it looks to me like the A pillars are black which would make it an 83.
