    Tommy Ramone is now the only still living member from the Ramones - all the others sadly passed the last years:(

    I had no idea that he passed away until I read this, strange thing is last night I listened from beginning to end Ramones Mania.

    In 1976, I was in 9th grade in Norfolk VA - you could not escape the frickin' BeeGees and all the other crap that was on the radio that year - and "album rock" from the early 70s was starting to wear a little thin. Then a new kid showed up at school who's brother in NYC sent him Ramones, Pistols, Generation X, etc. God, what a revelation it was to hear that stuff.
