    I just picked up a 2013 458 spider in LA and then drove it 700 miles to its new home in Truckee.

    Stoked to meet some of you folks and over the moon with this car.

    Route from LA was:

    Beverly Hills dealership to Malibu. Encinal canyon to Sycamore Canyon back to highway 1. From there up to Ojai on 33, and then 33 all the way to 166. Then across to 5 and back to SF for the night. Next day was a straight shot up 80.

    33 was hands down the most amazing ride. Highly recommended if you've never gone.

    Up in the Truckee area you have 49, which is fun. Driving around the lake usually has traffic, but still beautiful. There is also 89 north to Sieraville and then the road up to Virginia City and some canyon carving behind it.
