My 1995 456 GT manual in yellow on black. 18k miles should be here on Sunday. Paid $65k, if people are curious, and I understood there was another buyer at that price point.

Not sure if that's a bit high, but I absolutely love Ferraris in yellow! Since so few 456s were made in yellow, I felt like I had to jump.

It has a fresh major. When I get it, the rear shocks are coming out and heading for deltavee. Otherwise, hoping for a dry fall so I can enjoy it a bit before winter.

This will be my third Ferrari, after a yellow 1980 308 GTSi (gone but not forgotten), a red on tan 1986 Mondial 3.2 Cabriolet (sold and awaiting shipment).

So far, I've come out even or ahead on each if my Ferraris. Here's hoping this one doesn't break the streak!

When I bought my 456M it had 13K on it and leaking shocks also, I just lived with the leak and kept an eye on the oil level and they self healed once the car got some use. Just a thought.
    Good luck and Enjoy!

Make sure to change the change the rear shock accumulators! Cheap (same as the ones found on BMW X5).

These are great cars (I own a '95) but can cost quite a bit to "sort out."

Basically they're elegant, essentially hand built bits of automotive art that can blast down the road like a raped ape.

    Welcome to the club.

Gorgeous! and great to see a proper 3 pedal. I've loved mine. Can consider bigger rims and spacers to help update the look if not a purist... Image Unavailable, Please Login

I think so! Rumor has it only two factory yellow 456s were ever imported to the US (let alone manuals).

Gorgeous gorgeous car. Congratulations, and thanks for posting the price point. IMHO I think you got a smoking deal. Manual 456s will be 6 figure cars so you did well.

Very good looking car! i was looking for a yellow one too but was unable to find a decent one. So i went for the more common TdF/beige MGT manual.

Thanks Daniel for the compliment. Also, thanks Mark for starting this thread. I've always wondered where and how many yellow manual 456's were out there. I've been trying to figure this out for the last 8 years.

IMO the yellow color in combination with the black wheels emphasize the beautiful lines of this car (elegance combined with the right amount of sportiness) in perfection.
I have never seen this combination before, congratulation to your car and your taste.

I discovered some light damage to my car last night once I got it into the light. Based on before-shipping, during-load, and immediate post-unload photos, it's clear the car got bumped in transit.

See how the panel gap has changed? And see the little crack beneath the right tail pipe?

I will deal with it with the shipping company, and I am not letting it ruin my day.
