Jon Beats Dick

This is hilarious for a number of reasons. The craziest part is that it is mostly likely true. Jon Lovitz beat up fellow comedian Andy Dick at the Laugh Factory last week. Dick made a comment about the murder of Lovitz s old SNL buddy Phil Hartman according to Page Six.

Apparently this goes back to last year when Lovitz was antagonized by Dick. Lovitz states he "looked at me and said, 'I put the "Phil Hartman hex" on you - you're the next one to die.' I said, 'What did you say?' and he repeated it. I wanted to punch his face in, but I don't hit women."

The two comedic enemies ran into each other again at the Laugh Factory last Wednesday. Lovitz expected an apology, but went berserk when he didnt get it. The Laugh Factory owner witnessed the assault and said, "Jon picked Andy up by the head and smashed him into the bar four or five times, and blood started pouring out of his nose."

Lovitz responded, "All the comedians are glad I did it because this guy is a [bleep]hole."

I have no idea where you guys stand, but I actually like both comedians for different reasons. Dick is insane and starts **** on a regular basis. He pisses people off, but I am at least entertained. But Lovitz is this super hot older man that assaults younger guys. Model and ex-girlfriend Janice Dickinson once said he had a huge penis. That explains a lot.

Didn't Phil Hartman, Andy Dick and Jon Lovitz work on a tv show called TV Radio {or whatever name}? I wonder if this stems all the way back to that?

I don't think I have ever considered Andy Dick anything other than retarded. Luvitiz isn't much better, but wasn't he on The Critic back in the day?

Another article I read said it stems from Dick giving Hartmans wife some coke at a party even though she had been sober 10 years. 5 months later she killed Phil.

Yeah it was "News Radio" Lovitz was Hartman's replacement in the final season.
