Jonas Apology Accepted

Am I supposed to care?

 

No need to apologize, this what the P & R section is for. To keep the other sections on topic and focused. it is like "lets take it outside" zone of F-chat.

Well, he's young, raised in a place different from US in many respects, with different folklore, ideals, myths, societal mores (and lesses) perpetuated here and there. For someone to whom English is a not-first language, he expresses his thoughts and opinions extremely well, if not better than many an American. Became a whipping boy for a couple of reasons (some more right than others) and seasons, and realized he'd taken a wrongheaded approach (but, some dismiss all his opinions no matter what, which isn't exactly the right thing to do either) - it's all part of maturing. Admitting mistakes in judgment comes easier to some than others, just as forgiving and forgetting does. Water under the bridge.

As you know, once you post into a thread, you get email updates, hence my return to the thread.

And, the 'zzzzzzzzzzz's" are not aimed at you so much as at the entire concept of "apology" and "recovery" on FerrariChat, which is past worn out, at least for me.

I think Jonas is a decent guy, but his long winded apology in Velostrada was a waste of time and energy. (Frankly I skimmed it, didn't read it word for word.)

It's under user options somwhere or another.

you get an email when someone responds to a thread you post into or start. But you only get one email, no matter how many people post in the thread, until you visit the thread again. Or something like that.

Im not normally a care bear, as "Joan-Ass" (as i usually call him) has directly pissed me off in the past.

But considering he had the balls to make an article apologizing, i have gained respect for him. Considering im not much older than him, im not gonna lay down some wise old man BS on him, but just to let him know i will know refer to him as...

"Jonas"

People can accept it or not. I did not expect everyone to accept, I can't do anything about it. I made the apology because I felt it was appropriate, and if some people which I have pissed of feel that's it's nothing but another apology, then that's what it is.. for them..

I felt that I had to do it in respect for some of the members on this board, and I have gotten some positive feedback on it and most have accepted the apology, and I thank them.

BTW, I am NOT a socialist.
