After ten years, they might have found the culprit...
Not much really said, but I am surprised her mother died of cancer in June. Had no idea. For conspiracy theorists: karma?
Media is already speculating. I would not be suprised if Dad was pimping out his daughter to this pedophile for big bucks. People don't come in your house while you sleep, take your daughter to the basement and rape, beat and strangle them. Also ransom notes are not two pages long, and there's no point in leaving one if you just killed the person and left the body a few feet away. I think mom or dad was involved. There's obviously more to the story than a pedophile going in the house, killing the daughter and leaving. It seems to me like there was some type of plan that went wrong. What's a pedophile from Georgia doing in the Ramsey house in Colorado?
If this fellow is guilty, the National Enquirer should apoligize to the family. Every week for nearly 2 years they accused the parents of being murderers. We lost our 5 year old son about 8 years ago, and as bad as it was, I can't imagine someone pubilicly blaming us every week to millions of people. This paper took the worst thing that can happen to parents and made it worse. They should be ashamed....Charlie
Charles, you and yours have my sincerest belated condolences. ____ As to these developments - I've never felt they played a role in the death of their daughter and am extremely happy to read that the parents were fully aware of the status of the investigaion before the Mother passed away. When all is said and done, I hope the Father sues the shameless gossip rags and shows for slander upside down, backwards and sideways.
I think the family is owed an apology from the entire Media. They have been put thru the ****. I believe all the stress killed the mother and caused her cancer. I am glad to hear another child molester is caught and hopefully be convicted.
I was a freshman in highschool when this started. At the time I, like most of the country, blamed the parents. Last year my wife and I watched a long documentary about the case which completely changed my mind. Should they find this new suspect to be guilty, the local police should be sued endlessly. They will have practically allowed this man to do God knows what while blaming the parents for the crime. And if anyone really thinks the parents were involved, then please explain why they put themselves into debt in order to hire a top notch, independant team to re-open the case. - Chris
Supposedly it was some pre-school teacher that was nabbed in Thailand on some other sex crime. I read this earlier and now can't find the link. Found it, here it is: http://www.canada.com/topics/news/world/story.html?id=f40cb80e-7ee4-4c45-a7fe-6691eb3a45ca&k=62552
Murders occur everyday. Including the killing of children. How many children have been killed in Iraq or the Sudan and other parts of the world. This child's life is not worth anymore than anyone elses. Yes, it was horrible. It is tragic every time a child dies. But this girl's story has recieved way more media attention than it deserves. Much as the life and story of Ann Frank is no more tragic or important than the life and story of other Holocaust victims.
Until the cops come out and conclusivly say who has done this, talking about this is nothing more than: Image Unavailable, Please Login
And this morning he admitted he was guilty. Full article can be found here: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060817/ap_on_re_as/thailand_jonbenet_ramsey
Just so you know Elvis was spotted having breakfast last week at a diner on Hwy 49 in Gulfport , MS. He sat at the table next to me, he is very thin these days but he still has the same sideburns and dyed black hair. I haven't seen JFK or Marilyn yet though ......
Best News I have heard for a while. This F--cking scumbag will soon be getting whats coming to him in the big house. The inmates will be lining up for a piece of this guy. Finally RIP Jon Benet PS Yellow jacket , Very, very sorry to hear about the loss of your son.
Not that I'm an expert on this case, but this didn't seem right: “He said it was second-degree murder. He said it was unintentional,” Suwat said. He said Karr told Thai interrogators that he picked JonBenet up at her school and brought her to the family’s basement. Having seen this story umpteen times over the last 10 years, I thought the family went to bed--wasn't it Christmas or Xmas eve?--and she was missing in the morning.
