    Hey Yasir!

    There's not much in the way of hotels near Jones Beach. Are you in town for a concert or something or do you just want to party at the beach? If you're in for a concert, your best bet is to stay way off the beach and get a car to and from the show.

    Just coming in with my family for few days and thought kids might like the beach,never been to a beach yet.Any way our main attraction is food,indian,that we can't find any where else but Brooklyn,NY.I have already booked a room in brooklyn for thurs & friday but need a room for sat,pref not too far from Jones beach.Btw can you name me few towns around that area that way i can look up the hotels myself.

    Wantagh, Long Beach, Point Lookout, Babylon, Ocean Side -- I'm sure I'm forgetting lots of them, but this is a good place to start! Lemme know where you decide!

    Yasir, I don't know if this is too late or not but the best place for you to go is the Marriott in Uniondale. Its just off the Meadowbrook parkway and if there's no traffic, ten minutes up the road from Jones Beach.

    just to warn u...
    Jones Beach is not that great.
    lots of rocks in the sand...seaweed everywhere....pretty nasty.

    if you have a rental car, you should drive another 20 minutes to Robert Mosses State Park. It's a lot nicer than Jones Beach.
